Rosella Leslie
Rosella Leslie has milked cows, driven tractor, split shakes and fished the West Coast. She is a founder of the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts and served on its board of directors for four years. Her many published works include The Cougar Lady: Legendary Trapper of Sechelt Inlet (Caitlin Press, 2014), The Goat Lady’s Daughter (NeWest Press, 2006), Drift Child (NeWest Press, 2010), and Losing Us: A Dementia Caregiver’s Journey (FriesenPress, 2022). She co-authored A Stain Upon the Sea: West Coast Salmon Farming (2004), which became a BC Book Prize winner in 2005. With Keller, Leslie is a member of the Quintessential Writers. She lives in Sechelt, BC.
