Merlin Bunt

Merlin Bunt is a retired accountant and keen local historian. He was born in Chilliwack in the 1950s and is a fifth-generation Chilliwackian. Since 2014, he has posted more than 400 original articles on his popular Facebook history page, “Chilliwack History Perspectives,” about aspects of Chilliwack’s past. He has also authored articles appearing in The Chilliwack Progress newspaper and The Northern Mariner journal. Bunt serves as treasurer on the board of the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society and is a member of the Heritage Chilliwack Society. He lives in Chilliwack, BC.
