Lily Gontard is a writer living in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. Her fiction, poetry and non-fiction have appeared in magazines such as the New Quarterly, Geist, The Puritan Magazine and Up Here. She is a member of Yukon Writers' Collective Ink and helps organize readings and events in Yukon and Atlin, BC, for the collective. Her first book with photographer Mark Kelly, Beyond Mile Zero: The Vanishing Alaska Highway Lodge Community, won a 2018 silver IPPY award for travel essay.
