Kathy Jones-Gates

Kathy Jones-Gates was born and raised in England. She was the Director of the Dawson City Museum from 1974 to 1982. She was a radio and print correspondent in the Yukon, and co-founded and co-edited two community newspapers. Since her early retirement, she has published and presented articles on Yukon history and conducted research for various book and film projects, most notably the film Dawson City: Frozen Time.
Michael and Kathy spent 20 years hunting for history in the Klondike goldfields. They have been married for 47 years and currently live in Whitehorse, YT.
