Harbour Publishing Celebrates Culture Days this Weekend

Book CoverHarbour Publishing is celebrating Culture Days this weekend with a book launch and author readings at Word on the Street.

Renowned historian Barry Gough will launch his latest book, Juan de Fuca’s Strait: Voyages in the Waterway of Forgotten Dreams at the Vancouver Maritime Museum on Saturday, September 29th at 2:00 pm. This tea and talk will include a fascinating slide show/talk, and a book signing.

September 30th marks the 2012 Word on the Street festival. Harbour Publishing is proud to announce the following author readings this Sunday:

Sharon Hanna with The Book of Kale, Magazine Life Tent at 11:00 am
Tom Wayman with Dirty Snow, Poetry Tent at 11:00 am
Rachel Rose with Song and Spectacle, Poetry Tent at 11:00 am and 4:20 pm
Kathy Sager with Suzie’s Sourdough Circus, Kids Tent at 1:20 pm
Arthur Black with Looking Blackward, Canada Writes Tent at 1:40 pm
Jackson Davies with Bruno and the Beach, Authors Tent at 4:40 pm
