Award-winning sexual health educator Meg Hickling will be touring Canada to promote her bestselling first book for kids: Boys, Girls and Body Science. An Officer of the Order of Canada and the Order of BC, Meg is, quite simply, one of the country’s premier sexual health educators. This charming picture book is illustrated by Governor-General’s Award-winning illustrator Kim La Fave and depicts one of Meg’s famous body science discussions in a typical primary grade classroom, telling young children what they need to know about sexual health in the form of a fun-to-read story. Join Meg on October 23 at 7:30pm for teachers’ night at Chapters Coquitlam. On October 27 at 7:30pm, you can catch her at Shaughnessy United Church. November 4 at 7:30pm, she will appear at McNally Robinson Booksellers in Saskatoon and November 6 at 7:30pm, she will appear at McNally Robinson Booksellers Grant Park in Winnipeg.
