Arthur Black Heads Back to Ontario

For nineteen years, the voice of Arthur Black delighted Canadians every Saturday with quirky stories on CBC Radio One’s Basic Black program. He also hosted Life Television Network’s Weird Homes and Weird Wheels before settling in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. This November, the three-time winner of the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour will return to his native Ontario to share his latest collection of stories entitled Black is the New Green. Meet Arthur at one of his readings at the following locations and times:

·Collected Works in Ottawa—located at 1242 Wellington Street West—on Tuesday, November 3rd beginning at 7:30 pm
·McNally Robinson Booksellers in Toronto—located at 1090 Don Mills Road—on Wednesday, November 4th beginning at 8:00 pm
·The Leacock Museum National Historic Site
in Orillia—located at 50 Museum Drive—on Thursday, November 5th beginning at 8:00 pm
