Nightwood Launches Three Fall Titles!

Nightwood Editions launches three literary titles in the next two weeks:

 First up is When I Was Young and In My Prime, a beautifully written first novel by Toronto writer Alayna Munce. Alayna will be launching her book at Mitzi’s Sister bar (1554 Queen Street W, Toronto) on Thursday, October 13 at 8pm. Don’t miss other readings by Alayna on Tuesday, November 1 in St. Catharines, ON (as part of the Grey Borders Readings Series) and on Friday, November 25 in Toronto, ON (as part of the IV Lounge Reading Series). 


 Amanda Lamarche launches her long-awaited debut book of poetry, The Clichéist, at the Crush Champagne Lounge (1180 Granville Street, Vancouver, BC) on Thursday, October 13 at 8pm (with poet Elizabeth Bachinsky, who is launching her book Curio). Amanda will also be reading on Friday November 18in Victoria, BC (as part of the Mocambopo Reading Series) at 7:30 pm.

Chris Robinson reads from Stole This From a Hockey Card
a thinking fan’s hockey book that strikes just the right note for those disillusioned by today’s NHL—in St. Catharines, ON (as part of the Grey Borders Reading Series) on Tuesday, October 11. He then celebrates with a book launch in his hometown of Ottawa on Sunday, October 23 at Collected Works Bookstore & Coffeebar (1242 Wellington Street, at Holland, Ottawa, ON) at 2pm.
